Pyotr Dron, a player from Adamant Club, and club sports director Konstantin Zadvornov were officially thanked by the Governor of St. Petersburg for the country’s successful performance at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi together with other leading St. Petersburg athletes and specialists. Commemorative diplomas were presented at the gala celebration in the honour of our city’s most distinguished athletes and coaches. Speaking at the celebration, the Governor of St. Petersburg, Georgy Poltavchenko, noted the stellar achievements of St. Petersburg athletes at the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Sochi. The athletes and coaches responded in turn. An athlete from our club, Petr Dron, spoke as well and thanked the management of Holding Company Adamant and Adamant Sports Club for their tremendous contribution to the training of participants of the Olympic Games from St. Petersburg and the development of curling in our city.
