This victory allowed men’s teams of Adamant Club to claim their fifth national title in curling since the club’s foundation in 2010. Adamant-1 men’s curling team won the national title for the second year in a row. The champions’ roster includes Alexey Stukalsky (skip), Andrey Drozdov (vice-skip), Artur Razhabov, Anton Kalalb, Petr Dron. Head coach - Konstantin Zadvornov. Two Adamant teams met in the finals of Russian Championship’2016, and the first team won. The silver medal went to Adamant-2 team, which was comprised of Alexey Tselousov (skip), Alexey Timofeev (vice-skip), Artem Shmakov, Evgeny Klimov and Alexander Bystrov. Head coach - Alexey Tselousov, consulting coach - Igor Minin.
