The charitable organization "Apelsin," with the assistance of the "Adamant" holding company, opened an apartment in St. Petersburg for residents of mental health institutions seeking independent living.

The project's main goal is to ensure a smooth and painless adaptation of young people to life outside the institution. People with disabilities learn everyday and social skills with the support of social workers. At the same time, the charity's staff helps them obtain state-funded housing, as well as find their place in the profession and employment.

More than 15 people have already completed the supported living program at the Orange Charity Organization, some of whom are now living and working independently. The new training apartment can accommodate six people.

Adamant Holding assisted in furnishing the space with the necessary furniture and appliances. The new apartment now boasts a large, beautiful sofa—the perfect spot for watching movies together, which will become the center of friendly conversation and fun. The equipped kitchen-living room is ideal not only for cooking but also for playing board games and meeting with friends.

Each of the children in their new apartment has a personal space for studying and storing personal belongings. This is especially important, as such small details help teach everyday skills and foster responsibility for cleanliness and order, and also help them feel more confident.

We thank the charity organization "Orange" for implementing such an important and systematic project. We wish the program participants determination and fruitful learning.
