Charitable Foundation Umka, with the assistance of Adamant Holding Company, wished held special New Year’s events for children from various boarding schools and hospitals

On 17 December 2013, a New Year’s party for hearing-impaired pupils was held at the Yukki Village Correctional Boarding School.
On 18 December 2013, a New Year’s party for little patients in the Oncology Scientific Research Institution took place in the village of Pesochnyi.
On 24 December 2013, a New Year’s party was held for little patients being treated in the Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Genetic Disease Department of Hospital No. 31.
The children were greeted by Grandfather Frost (Santa Claus), the Snow Maiden and the bear cub Umka. All children got sweets, board games, books and other presents.
