Visitors of Adamant shopping malls collected nearly 50 tons of items for charity.

The Adamant holding company is collaborating with the Spasibo! charity shop chain. Spasibo! is the first social entrepreneurship project in Russia to launch a program for recycling and upcycling used clothing. Spasibo! unites a network of charity shops and a network of containers where residents bring their unwanted items. Some of the items are donated to those in need, while others are sold by Spasibo! stores to benefit charities. Thanks to the Spasibo! containers installed in 14 shopping malls, they collect approximately 15 tons of clothing per month. From July to September 2024, visitors to the centers brought in 47.5 tons of clothing. The items were divided into three categories. Just over 3 kg of clothing was sent to Spasibo! stores for sale, with proceeds going to charities. Half of the collected items were distributed free of charge to those in need. Items no longer fit for wear were recycled, turned into regenerated fiber and cleaning rags, and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
